Reality television is not "Big Brother" or the slow deterioration
of Rachel Ray. The news and the political happenings worldwide are the
real real. The implosion of the submersible brought out the whole
spectrum of opinions. I'm not qualified to pass judgment on this
subject, but I will say the sign says don't feed the bears for a reason.
The 36 hour coup of Russia ended as fast
as it started. It appears the only Russian hoax is the rule of Vladimir
Putin. He has crashed as hard as the St. Louis Cardinals' bullpen.
Something smells here and it's not your feet.
The
Faith and Freedom Coalition met this week. A Republican Christian group
that touts Donnie "Revenge Tour" Trump as its keynote speaker has some
issues. The usual glee club was there. Ron "Unlikable" DeSantis, "Hang
'Em High" Mike Pence, and the Missouri pipsqueak Josh Hawley all sang
their songs. But the highlight was when "Billy Bad Ass" Chris Christie
had the nerve to criticize the Donald and was booed off the stage.
"Meet
The Press" today was the king size all Russian special. Numero Uno was
Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, minus Winken and Nod. The majority
of answers were of the I can't speculate variety. The Ukrainian military
now has the green light for the hurry up offense, but don't look for
any flea flickers on first down. China expressed outrage that Uncle Joe
Biden called Xi Jinping a dictator, but what is he supposed to call him?
Jimmy Fallon? And to the reports that China is building spy bases in
Cuba Blinken replied the U.S. response is on the hush hush Q.T.
Next
was the moderate Democratic Senator from Minnesota Amy Klobuchar. I
will always remember her quote when Donnie was in charge that his grand
promises were all foam and no beer. Her response to the poll numbers
that show 43% of Democrats think Uncle Joe doesn't have the mental or
physical attributes to be President was "He seems okay to me." And to
those angry Republicans who scream that Hunter got off with a deal on
his charges Amy reminded America he was prosecuted by a Trump appointed
attorney.
Finally on your scorecard was
Nebraska Republican Representative Don Bacon. Flying in the face of his
party he supports aid to Ukraine. But 57% of Republican voters do not.
And he says Trump cannot claim the boxes of documents are his and not
the government's. That also does not go with the party of Kevin
McCarthy. He must be secure in his district, or have incriminating
photos of his opponent.
On a final note
for the week we can actually thank Marjorie Traitor Greene for
something. Thanks to her finger wagging lecture we can now officially
call Lauren Boebert the Little Bitch.
